The UTEF 2025 Hackathon is an intensive 24-hour competition where multidisciplinary teams will develop innovative solutions to social and business problems.

Diego Torres
Diego es un experto en soluciones blockchain con más de 8 años de experiencia diseñando sistemas para la gestión de cadenas de suministro. En IBM, ha liderado proyectos para grandes empresas en Europa y Asia, optimizando procesos logísticos con tecnologías descentralizadas. Es también formador en cursos avanzados sobre blockchain empresarial.
Laura Mendoza
Laura tiene una década de experiencia desarrollando aplicaciones web de alto impacto. Actualmente trabaja en Meta, donde lidera proyectos que integran tecnologías como React y Next.js para ofrecer soluciones escalables. También ha impartido cursos sobre desarrollo web en diversas universidades y plataformas digitales.

12:00 - 13:30 | Workshop: "Design Thinking for Educational Solutions".
Facilitator: Javier Torres, CEO of EdTech Solutions- Interactive dynamics to identify problems and come up with innovative solutions.

17:00 - 18:30 | Final Presentation of Projects
- Each team will have 5 minutes to present their solution.
- Panel of judges will evaluate innovation, impact and feasibility.
18:30 - 19:00 | Judges' deliberation.
19:00 - 19:30 | Awards Ceremony
- Announcement of the winning teams and presentation of prizes.
19:30 - 20:00 | Closing and Acknowledgements
- Final reflection on the impact of the Hackathon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Anyone interested in technology and education can participate, regardless of their level of experience. This includes students, developers, designers, educators, and professionals from any sector.
This is not necessary. Introductory workshops and mentors will be available to guide teams. Skills such as leadership, project management and innovation are also an asset.
You can register online via our registration form on the official Hackathon website. Make sure you fill in all required fields before the deadline.
You can register individually or with a team already formed. If you come alone, we will help you to integrate into a team on the first day of the event.
