The Social Innovation Fair is an event dedicated to presenting innovative projects and solutions that address social problems.

This event brings together social entrepreneurs, non-profit organisations, academics and professionals from the public and private sectors to share their initiatives and explore collaborations. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking sessions, as well as visit exhibits of projects that are making a difference in their communities.

The aim of the fair is to inspire participants to develop and support social innovation projects that can improve people's quality of life. Topics such as sustainability, social inclusion, education, health and community development will be addressed, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and the creation of strategic partnerships.

Programme

  • 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Registration and Welcome
    Attendees will be greeted with a complimentary breakfast, followed by a keynote speech by the Rector of UTEF, who will highlight the importance of social innovation and the objectives of the event.
  • 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Keynote - "Social Innovation: Transforming Communities".
    Speaker: Dr. Ana Martínez, Expert in Social Innovation.
    Description: This keynote will explore how social innovation can be a powerful tool to address complex problems in communities. Dr. Martinez will present success stories and discuss effective strategies for developing sustainable projects.
  • 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Coffee Break
    An opportunity for attendees to network and visit exhibits of innovative projects.
  • 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Panel Discussion - "Innovative Solutions for Social Inclusion".
    Moderator: Lic. Juan Pérez, Community Development Consultant.
    Panelists: Lic. Laura Fernández, Project Director at ONG Inclusión Activa.
    Carlos Gómez, Technology Developer for Inclusion.
    Marta Ruiz, Psychologist and Expert in Diversity and Inclusion.
    Description: This panel will discuss various innovative solutions that are promoting social inclusion in different contexts. The panelists will share their experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities in this field.
  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch
    Lunch in the university canteen, offering attendees the opportunity to interact with speakers and other participants in an informal setting.
  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Workshop - "Development of Social Innovation Projects".
    Instructor: Lic. Clara Sánchez, Social Innovation Consultant.
    Description: A practical workshop that will provide participants with the tools and techniques necessary to develop and manage social innovation projects. Topics such as needs identification, strategic planning, financing and impact evaluation will be covered.
  • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Coffee Break
    Another opportunity for networking and to visit the exhibits of innovative projects.
  • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Project Presentations and Closing Ceremony
    Participants will have the opportunity to present the projects they have been working on during the event. The day will end with a closing session where the main conclusions will be discussed. 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Registration and welcome.

      Closing of the day with a summary of the key points discussed and a networking session to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas among participants.
