Application for credit recognition
Students on official undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
If you are studying an official undergraduate or postgraduate programme, you can apply for recognition of credits obtained at this or another university.
This application must be submitted only once at the time of your first enrolment. You must include all previous official studies that you wish to have recognised, regardless of the academic year to which they belong.
Steps to follow
Review
Before submitting the application form for credit recognition, please contact the programme director to clarify any doubts about the possibilities of recognition.
Fill in the form
Application form for credit recognition duly completed.
Transcript of records
Transcript of records or official transcript from the institution of origin, detailing the subjects taken, their contents and grades obtained.
Syllabus
Syllabus or academic programme of the subjects for which recognition is sought, including detailed descriptions of the contents, bibliography and timetable.
Submits documentation
Make sure you meet the deadlines set by the university for the submission of applications.
Complete the form and submit it to creditos@utef.com
Assessment of the application
The university will evaluate the application, verifying the equivalence of the contents, the time load and other established academic criteria. This process may include an interview or an additional test, if deemed necessary by the institution.
Resolution
Once your case has been studied, you will receive the credit recognition resolution in your institutional e-mail.
